Looking for a fun, laidback way to enjoy summer evenings in Greeley? Beginning June 18, the City of Greeley’s Family FunPlex outdoor amphitheater (1501 65th Avenue) once again comes alive with its beloved Thursday night family-friendly concert series. 

Spread out your blanket, unpack your picnic, settle into a camp chair and take in the warm evening air while local musicians fill the park with notes from Big Band classics to funky beats. 

Concerts start at 7 p.m., are completely free and open to all ages. 

2026 Concert Lineup 

June 18 – Kream of the Krop Swing Band 
A 17-piece Big Band ensemble bringing the nostalgic sounds of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Quincy Jones and more. Expect swinging rhythms and velvety brass. 

June 25 – John Mills Orchestra 
Since forming in 2000, the John Mills Orchestra has delighted audiences with timeless jazz arrangements. The group released its first album in 2003 and has been a Northern Colorado favorite ever since. 

July 2 – Jees! Funk Band 
If you’re craving upbeat, high-energy grooves, this group delivers. Their eclectic mix of funk rhythms and feel-good melodies promises a lively night. 

July 9 – Northern Colorado Wind Saxophone Sextet 
Part of the ever-growing New Horizons Band of Northern Colorado—now over 60 members—this talented sextet highlights the warm, rich tones of saxophones in harmony. 

July 16 – Kream of the Krop Swing Band 
They’re back! If you missed the first show (or want an encore), here’s another chance to catch their crowd-pleasing Big Band sound. 

July 23 – John Mills Orchestra 
Closing out the season with a final set of smooth, captivating jazz.

  • Big City Roadhouse – 923 59th Avenue – A lively roadhouse-style spot near 59th Avenue, perfect for comfort food lovers. The menu features tavern-style pizzas, fish and chips, Certified Angus steaks, hearty burgers, duck‑fat tater tots, and craft cocktails. 

  • Cancun Mexican Grill & Cantina – 5415 W 11th Street - A west Greeley favorite, Cancun Mexican Grill & Cantina is known for its generous portions, flavorful dishes and friendly service, with standout plates like seafood enchiladas and classic combo platters.
