Greeley Farmers' Market

Fresh flavors and friendly faces make the Greeley Farmers’ Market a spring favorite. Through April, shop local on the first and third Saturdays of each month at Zoe's Cafe from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. In May, the market moves outdoors to the north end of Lincoln Park and runs every Saturday.

Stroll vendor booths filled with seasonal produce, baked goods, handmade items and locally crafted products. It’s an easy way to spend a Saturday morning, meet local growers and makers and take home something fresh.

Blarney on the Block

Get ready to wear your green. Blarney on the Block is Downtown Greeley’s festive St. Patrick’s Day street party and a can’t-miss spring tradition. Enjoy Irish dancers, bagpipers, green beer, family-friendly games and live entertainment throughout the afternoon on March 14 from 2-6 p.m.

Whether you’re Irish or just Irish for the day, this lively celebration brings the community together for music, laughter and a little Celtic charm.

UNC•Greeley Jazz Festival

The UNC•Greeley Jazz Festival is the largest event of its kind in the nation and a true highlight of spring. Each year, more than 4,000 participants fill Greeley with the sound of swing, bebop and big band classics.

Over 150 college, high school and middle school ensembles travel from across the country to perform, learn and connect. Happening April 23-25, the festival features mainstage concerts with internationally recognized artists, daytime performances, educational workshops and late-night jam sessions. It’s an inspiring few days where seasoned jazz lovers and new fans alike can experience the energy and talent that make this event one of Greeley’s signature traditions.

Culture Events

Greeley History Museum

With free general admission and new open days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) it’s easier than ever to explore Greeley’s and Weld County’s history. Here’s what you can see this spring:

  • “A Great Frontier Odyssey: Sketching the American West." The exhibit follows artists Jules Tavernier and Paul Frenzeny on their 1873 cross-country journey to capture life and landscapes of the American West with their engravings. Exhibit last day: May 24, 2026.

  • “Home News: A Greeley View of the Nation’s Centennial” It’s the nation’s 250 birthday this year, and Colorado’s 150th. We celebrate with a look back to the Centennial year, 1876, when the heart and soul of Greeley was printed on the pages of the Greeley Tribune. Visit this exhibit to explore one of the most consequential years in post-Civil War America through the eyes of Greeley, a small Colorado colony just beginning to thrive. Exhibit open from April 3, 2026-March 14, 2027.

Centennial Village Museum: Celebrates 50 Years

Fifty years ago, the Vietnam War was ending, the Winter Olympics launched in Austria, and Apple Computer was founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. In Greeley, it was the year Centennial Village Museum was established. Celebrate a whole new year of hands-on history and fun events! We start off with Baby Animal Days April 25 and 26 from 10a.m. to 3 p.m., with baby animals, horse-drawn wagons, a mini-Farmers' Market, crafts and demonstrations. Then join us Memorial Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, when the Village opens for the season, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Recreation Activities

Greeley Ice Haus: A Community Gathering Place

If you didn’t get enough of winter sports by watching the Olympics, come try some out yourself at the Greeley Ice Haus, where ice skating, figure skating, hockey, broomball and sled hockey programs flourish. Public skate sessions are offered daily from Noon to 1:30 p.m. As well as evening hours on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Cosmic Skating (with colorful lights and themed music) on Friday and Saturday nights. You can drop in for Learn to Skate classes and Cub Hockey or Intro to Adult Hockey before committing to a full session, so children and adults still can get ice time in with their busy schedules. Just pay the daily drop-in fee to attend. And if you haven’t stopped by lately, they’ve expanded their menu at the concessions stand and added an Upstairs Bar with craft brews and cocktails, along with a variety of tantalizing foods with weekly specials. Come have a drink to wet your whistle! The Bar is open Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings during adult hockey leagues and during special events. If you’re planning ahead, sign your figure skater or hockey player up for summer camps. We offer an Excel Camp, Skate Camp and Hockey Camps in June and July. Make it a nice day trip with your family, visit the Ice Haus and explore downtown Greeley with shops and restaurants right across the street.

Family FunPlex: Where Everyone Can Be a Kid Again

The Family FunPlex is the destination for family fun. Bring the gang for a day filled with activity! This full-service recreation facility has an indoor waterpark, complete with a zero-depth area for littles, a lazy river, an activity pool with a basketball hoop, lap swim lanes and three amazing slides! Their 18-hole miniature golf course (open weather permitting) allows youth and adults to putt through Poudre Canyon and learn a little history about Greeley’s water along the way. If you need to burn some steam, there’s a fitness center, in addition to a multi-sport court gymnasium with volleyball and basketball equipment that’s also ideal for inline skating. And... did we mention that most fitness classes are included with your daily admission? You can leave your child at the on-site Child Watch area so they can play while you work out. The surrounding grounds include a great walking/biking path – the Sheep Draw Trail, an outdoor amphitheater, Twin Rivers Ball Park, a playground and a fishing hole. Bring a picnic, your suits, and bikes and make a day of it!
