    When COVID temporarily nudged Brian out of the Wing Shack kitchen, he didn’t slow down. He fired up a fryer in his garage. Inspired by the chicken sandwich craze, he developed a brand-new breading profile and leaned into high-quality, never-frozen chicken from longtime partner Smart Chicken. The result? A sandwich so good it needed a bold name that's a playful nod to those saucy, slaw-topped sammies, and to his partner Sam, who helped inspire the name.

    Brian opened the first Wing Shack in Garden City in 2004. Over 20 years and nearly 20 locations later, the mission hasn’t changed: take care of the people who take care of you. From feeding teachers and nonprofits to showing up at community events and the Greeley Stampede, his businesses are stitched into the fabric of town. His philosophy is simple: treat your team like family, your vendors and guests like friends, and everything else will follow.
