Greeley, Colorado, comes alive during the fall season. With a variety of fall and Halloween activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy. From pumpkin patches to haunted tours, here’s your ultimate guide to experiencing fall in Greeley!
Pumpkin Patches, Farms, Produce and More
Visiting a pumpkin patch is a quintessential fall activity in Greeley. Local Tigges Farm (12404 County Road 64 1/2) has over 15 acres of “You Pick ‘Em Patches” showcasing an array of pumpkins – orange, pink, yellow, white, blue and even specialty pie baking pumpkins. Families can also enjoy a fun scavenger hunt. Print off one of the four options or complete them all. Don’t forget to stop by Tigges’ farmstand to purchase their popular fresh roasted chilis.
Another local favorite is Pope Farms Produce & Garden Center. This local gem offers a complete selection of garden essentials, and an impressive array of locally grown and produced items. Stock up on delicious Western Slope fruit and sweet Rocky Ford melons, or indulge in specialty products like Colorado’s Best Beef. They also stock refreshing ciders and juices from the Colorado Cherry Company, Village Pie Maker frozen fruit pies and Clarks local honey. As fall sets in, Pope Farms has a fantastic selection of pumpkins, gourds, mums and other seasonal goods to complete your fall decor. Stop by and get everything you need to celebrate the season!
Don’t forget: The Greeley Farmers’ Market runs through October 26, offering even more local produce and fall goodies. Make the most of this autumn season by supporting our local makers and growers!
