Big news for Greeley’s craft beer scene. One of the city’s favorite breweries just earned statewide bragging rights!

WeldWerks Brewing Co. was recently named Best Mid-Size Brewery at the Colorado Brewers Cup, topping breweries across the state that produce more than 675 barrels of beer each year. The competition received nearly 800 entries from 120 breweries, highlighting just how competitive Colorado’s craft beer scene has become.

For WeldWerks, the award is a big moment for a brewery that opened in downtown Greeley in 2015 and quickly built a loyal following among craft beer fans.

A Big Win for Colorado Craft Beer

The Colorado Brewers Cup is organized by the Colorado Brewers Guild, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting independent craft breweries across the state.

WeldWerks founder Neal Fisher told the Greeley Tribune that winning multiple medals and the brewery award among so many entries is a proud moment for the team. Read the full Greeley Tribune article here

Colorado is widely known as the State of Craft Beer, and the competition reflects just how deep the talent pool runs across the state.
